OPACI-COAT-300® Touch Up Kit - ICD High Performance Coatings + Chemistries

ICD produces quick videos for Glass Fabricators to accelerate their onboarding process. This OPACI-COAT-300® Touch Up Kit video shows how to effectively touch up minor scratches at the fabricator location or in the field.

Identify there's minor damage to the coated surface. The scratch is visible looking through the glass.

Use a retain from the matching batch of coating for the best color consistency. Approved Factory Fabricators (AFF's) can purchase spray repair kits directly from ICD. If needing to field repair, contact the glass fabricator directly for repair kit.

Remove any residual pieces of peeled coating from damaged surface. Spray Isopropyl Alcohol (IPA) onto a clean, lint-free cloth. Use the damp cloth to rub a light layer of IPA onto the damaged surface and allow the IPA to dry completely.

Use the spray repair kit to apply the OPACI-COAT-300® over the damaged surface. The coating repair should be dry within in 15-20 minutes or less, depending on ambient temperature conditions.

Once cured, the damage is no longer visible looking through glass and the coated glass is ready to be installed.
