PerformaSil® 100 Waterproofing Application Idea – ICD High Performance Coatings + Chemistries

ICD's PerformaSil® 100 is a silicone water-based elastomer that's one-component. It's a silicone latex that's formulated to improve the overall coating properties. It's perfect to be used as a co-resin or sole-binder in the formulation of ambient cure or bake architectural coatings. Application and coating types can include waterproofing, protective, anti-graffiti, elastomeric, air & weather barrier, paints, general co-binder to increase weatherability and water resistance; really any exterior coating meant for harsh weather conditions.

PerformaSil® 100 has excellent adhesion to a number of substrates types. Those can include masonry, glass, metal, wood, and textiles. It has less than 25 grams per liter of VOCs, forms a nice clear film, with 500% elongation, and 500 PSI tensile strength. Being water-based, it's perfect for easy application and clean-up.
